identifying 1st edition
I just picked up a fine/fine Colleen McCullough Caesar's Women. The verso
says first edition & printers code 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10. All fine & good so far. But, the dust jacket has no price - not clipped, just no price? Could someone look inside their known 1st & tell me if William Morrow put a price in the dust cover of this 1st edition? -- TIA |

Sounds like a book club edition. BCEs use the same plates to print the
book, so the copyright page looks the same. Check the back of the book at the bottom of the spine for a calaphon or some sort of impression. Art Layton |

No colophon, no blindstamp/mark in book or on dust jacket of any sort. The
