Just Out On DVD, Brokeback Beechmountain.
A story of a dumpster diver who meets up with an illegal alien behind
the "gates" of a rundown resort community. Narlie Chudo was a washed-up salesman who exsisted on his SSI check for a mental disablity and his failed Ebay sales. While out fishing for car parts in the local cesspool, he meets up with Hector Munoz, an illegal immigrant who is seeking refuge from the crackdown taking place in Hazelexico. Narlie and Hector find they have much in common, they both scrape to get by, they are both hated by most residents and they both have had many run-ins with local authorities. With nothing better to do, they start spending the day together and soon a relationship develops between the two. Narlei makes the first move on Hector out behind the clubhouse when Hector bends over to scrap the dog**** off his shoe. Hector is surprised at first, but Narlie takes advantage of his young age and inabilty to speak english and soon he and Hector are doing the Mexican Hat Dance while Narlies wife Neryl sits at home all alone. It's a touching tale of love and hope. You'll find yourself cheering for Narlie at first, but half-way through the film you'll be wishing he gets hit by an old Shirtbird as he starts to abuse poor Hector. Narlie blames it on his father rejection and how he only loved his brother Nistopher. In the end, Hector finally has enough of butt bongo and one day while Narlie ventures outside the gates looking for aluminum cans, Hectors sees his chance and runs off with Neryl leaving poor Narlie to do nothing but sit at home 24/7 and jerk-off to Usenet posts. Rated R. |
