Default Wurlitzer 1050 info needed? possibly selling

Hi Everyone,

I am possibly selling a Wurlitzer 1050 Jukebox. It was passed down from an
aunt, who bought it brand new (live in Buffalo, NY area, it was purchased
direct from the old Wurlitzer corporation about 5 miles away in Tonawanda, NY
before they closed). The Jukebox works and sounds excelent. I am currently
just finishing cleaning it up and replacing some of the light bulbs. Other
than that it looks in great condition, no cracks, nothing broken.
What I'm wondering is what it is worth if I try to sell it, and what is the
best way to go about selling it. I would appreciate any help or suggestions.
You can email me directly at .
Thanks

Price depends on how you are selling it. As -is puts it around $2700.
If you ar selling it shopped with a warrenty price goes up to maybe
$5500. Service after the sale is important, especially with the
Wurlitzers. Not as many service people as with the other brands.

AS for selling it, you'll get the most money advertising it in the
newspaper. You'llget responses from the collectors that will offer you
$1000, but hopefully you will get calls from serious people. Of course
you will also get alot of starngers that just want to look at it and
use your bathroom. If you will sell it cheaper and don't want to put up
wiyh the hassle, advertise it in Always Jukin' Magazine or contact onen
f their advertisers who will give you the wholesale price for it.
Good luck,
Charlie Maier
