Slave depictions on obsolete bank notes
Hi,
I'm currently working on paper about the images of slavery on obsolete bank notes. Does anybody know why some of the motives were still used after the end of the Civil War, i.e. they were still printed on notes issed in the 1870s? Thank you for your help! |
