WARNING:

If you purchase and receive valuable items from Canada sent to the US
- don't pay for Registered! Do't even think about it!

The USPS has now stopped keeping Canadian Registered as 'registered',
PLUS ... they dont even track the number!

With the registry markings, it's now fair game for posties to purloin.

Apparently ExpressPost will still get tracked, but I'm told you would
need private insurance.
