A conclusion is simply the place
where you decided to stop thinking.

2 troy oz is equal to 2 avoirdupois oz.

Uuuuh....nope.

Troy ounce = approx. 31.1 grams
Avoirdupois ounce = approx. 28.35 grams

2 avoirdupois ounces would be approx. 56.70 grams
2 troy ounces would be approx. 62.2 grams

The 1.85 troy ounces contained in a 4 piece gold Eagle set would equal

approx.
57.54 grams. So Chambers can always say he is correct in saying the 4

piece set
contains 2 ounces of gold (avoirdupois)...but he shouldn't be expressing

gold
weight in avoirdupois ounces as it is not priced that way.

If that is what he means....it is deceptive.

The one that used to be an outright lie was when their old vendor, Re-peat
(Mike something, now with HSN) used to say that a silver dollar contained

an
ounce of silver....not true no matter which system you are using.

Chambers, when he was just a show host and assisting their even older

vendor
Lewis Revels, used to claim that Modern Commem Silver Dollars were .999

fine
silver.
