Topps American Treasures
I know this group has been dying lately, but I'm surprised no one's
mentioned these. Talk about high priced insert sets, this is by far the pricest ever. All 1 of 1 auto's of the presidents. So far, only two have been on eBay, Jefferson (who is probably going to be the 3rd priciest) and currently Nixon at $16,300 http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tegory=55 956 Who has the money to pay these insane prices for the auto's, I can see Jefferson hitting nearly $30K but why Nixon? I mean, his auto has got to be 1000 times easier to find than Jefferson's, and autograph collectors wouldn't be looking for his auto as much as someone who's been dead for almost 200 years. So if you had to guess, what would you say for the other cards in the set? Although, the prices will probably drop once a couple more start hitting eBay I suppose since not as many of heavy payers will be wanting to lay down the big bucks to get one card, any card, from the set. Washington $70,000 Adams $25,000 Jefferson $27,800 (already sold) Madison $25,000 Monroe $20,000 Q Adams $20,000 Jackson $20,000 Van Buren $20,000 Henry Harrison $15,000 Tyler $15,000 Polk $15,000 Taylor $15,000 Fillmore $15,000 Pierce $15,000 Buchanan $15,000 Lincon $70,000 Johnson $20,000 Grant $20,000 Hayes $15,000 Garfield $15,000 Arthur $12,000 Cleveland $15,000 Harrison $12,000 McKinnley $15,000 T. Roosevelt $20,000 Taft $15,000 Wilson $12,000 Harding $12,000 Coolidge $12,000 Hoover $12,000 F. Roosevelt $25,000 Truman $20,000 Eisenhower $20,000 JFK $35,000 Johnson $15,000 Nixon $16,300 (currently on eBay) Ford $10,000 Carter $10,000 Reagan $25,000 Clinton $20,000 Bush dual signed $30,000 |

You'd think so, but Nixon is at $15,700 right now.

If they'll pay over 10,000 for Nixon what will they pay for the big boys like
Lincoln, or FDR, or JFK? You could buy a pack of cards and literally become an instant millionaire if you pull one of those guys |

Huh? If the Jefferson sold for just under $28,000, how would any of
the others sell for a million? Think, man, think. Consider the source. |
