Model Seeburg Disco 160 problem

I turned it on, everything seems to be ok except it did not grab a disk (45),
just stays in the left hand corner. what could the problem

Is the scan switch in the play position?

That wasnt very helpfull was it :-)

That could be several thngs . one would have to go through the whole
thing checking all sets of contacts and wire plugs to see if any are bad
..
I have restored several Seeburgs and 98% of the problems were in contact
sets or loose wiring from use & handling & maybe a bad fuse or 2 .
