Wow! Finally found someone else on this forum with a Rockola 442! When you say it doesn't "reset" at the end of the record, do you mean the record simply continues to spin and the arm stays on it.....or does it shut off and leave the record stopped on the turntable? Big difference. There is an adjustment on the arm to set the place that it reaches before it removes the arm. If it's set too far into the record, it won't remove the arm and all that will happen is that it will keep cycling in the lead-out groove. You can check this out easily by moving the arm to the left (toward the record label). If the adjustment is off, the arm will come off the record and properly reset. This adjustment is as follows: You will find it at the rear of the tone arm on the right. It is a small hexagonal headed nut that is horizontally mounted. Good luck with this, I may be "barking up the wrong tree".
