Ask Paul Gloeggler to be sure, but Merz & Krell didn't start producing
pens for Pelikan until 1973 or so and only produced a 400NN and 120
variant for Pelikan. The MK10 was produced from the late '60s until '73,
before Merz & Krell started producing pens for Pelikan. -- B

Default Question about Pelikan MK10

Bern is correct...the Mk10 was the intro, or student entry, to the
"Silvexa" line of hooded Pelikans.
While others in the line had metal caps with striped or brushed
(Silvexa) finishes and gold nibs, the 10 was plastic and plated. Most of
the line was available as piston or cartridge.
My favorite in this line is a blue bodied Silvexa 20 with brushed cap
and 10k white gold nib.
Regards,
Pelikanyo Paul (G)
