Is this true? What happened? I've seen her here for, I think, years.

It's one psycho talking to himself under different names. Too bad each
of the personalities (if such shallow entities can be so termed) can't
all receive separate sentences for harassment, slander, libel,
spreading false information, etc., etc., etc.

It's called libel, and yes it is a crime.
At least in a civil court.

Actually it would be a tort but only if defamatory.
If I were to say the sun sets in the east - that would be spreading
false information but not libelous.

Can you just see all the courts filled with lawsuits and prosecutions
for Usenet people, mad at each other for being mean? Can you see the
look on the judge's face when the prosecutor comes forward and says,
"Your Honor, I present The State vs Fweddie".

hawwwwwwwwwww

Yes, but they'd better hurry up, because I'm paying F.Lee Bailey by the
minute, and this is dragging on. My Doomella vs. Doomella forgery case
better be next on the docket. I've already paid for hours of coaching for
possible cross-examination traps. "I do know that it's the balls, not the
shaft that's hairy, Mr. Geragos." (Bailey produces State Exhibits III, IV,
V, VI, VII and VIII-- sealed plastic bags containing, respectively, nude
boyfriend, nude exes, and a terrified, hapless flasher I saw in the park 2
years ago)

It's no crime or tort to spread false information.
If it was, the entire Bush administration and both houses of Congress
would be in jail!!!

It's called libel, and yes it is a crime.
At least in a civil court.
