New auction site

We've just launched www.specialistauctions.com which is a collectors
auction site for rare, vintage and generally collectible items. We
have placed a moderation layer between buyer and seller to review items
posted, to ensure that they are genuine and provide buyers with some
added protection against fakes and replicas. This is particularly
important for high value goods of course and we believe, unique in the
auction site world. A further level of protection is afforded as every
auction page has a 'Report this item' button so that visitors can make
us aware of anything that has slipped through the net.

We went live on Saturday 19 November and are already enjoying 1000 plus
unique visitors a day viewing 9000+ pages. Not bad but a long way to
go of course.

We don't see ourselves as a competitor to other auction sites, just a
credible alternative that is owned by collectors who want to provide a
quality platform which is safe and free from replicas and forgeries.
There are no basic listing fees and our end of sale fee is just 3%
