"Happy Find" at a FOTL sale
Last Sunday I had a marvelous time at a local FOTL sale. Since brags
don't seem to go over very well any more, I'll call this a "happy find". I had picked out more than 30 mysteries (all firsts, to either keep or give to friends) when I spotted what I thought to be a pretty good SF title...Orson Scott Card's "Ender's Game", no nicks or tears in DJ, square and tight (maybe unread), no PON or inscriptions, not price clipped, would be fine except back of DJ is lightly rubbed, front is still fine, first Tor printing, January, 1985. All in all, a pretty good day. |
