Default Heada

In 1961 for Christmas, I wanted and got a doll named Heada or Hedda. I
don't remember how to spell her name. Heada was about 20-27 inches with
a head about the size of a grapefruit and she had a soft body that was
at least partly made of a softer, thinner rubber that I remember because
I was able to sew her arm back on when I was older. Heada had 3 faces
that turned when you turned the ball on top of her night cap. The cap
was hard plastic and her faces were doll rubber. One face was (I think)
a pleasant smiling baby doll, one face was a sleeping baby doll, and one
face was a baby doll with the measles and a hole in her lips to put her
thermometer. I'm sure she probably had a bottle also but for which faces
I don't remember. Heada wore pajamas. We girls did our Christmas
wishing through the Sears catalog or possibly TV. I never knew anyone
else who had a Heada doll so I probably found her in the Sears catalog.
