Default ToysRUs Sale... good deals

The Sunday paper had a large magazine-type flyer with toys galore!

The Happy Family - Grandma's Kitchen is only $39.99 (with a coupon that you get from the
flyer... and they have extras throughout the store). Basically, they are $49.99 and you
have a $10 off coupon. When I called this morning, the dip I talked to said that there
were none in the store. We went to the store anyway and found 20 or more of them.

Swan Lake dolls and most gift sets are also discounted. You get $3 off on the Swan Lake
Barbie, Ken, and Teresa.

Now, for the bonus prize. If you spend more than $100, they give you a *giant* Lion King
stuffed animal (suggested retail price = $29.99). You get your choice of Simba or Nila.
It's pretty big, but not huge. I'd estimate it is about 2 feet tall and about 2.5 feet
long... VERY CUTE. It is a nice "freebie" to give to someone as a gift this Christmas.

Last year, I got a free I Dream of Jeannie Barbie from KB Toys and gave it to my sister.
I am really kicking myself in the butt over that decision. They are going for well over
$75 on eBay these days. I guess I can't ask her to give the doll back. Can I?

All in all, the trip to the store was worthwhile... especially when you consider how crazy
that place is going to be in a few short weeks. By the way, TRU is not particularly
handicapped friendly. I won't even get into how much stuff got knocked down or run over
by my wheelchair. However, any damage is the store's fault; it's not up to me to make
sure that the aisles are cluttered with products.

Go to TRU, bring the credit card with the smallest balance, grab a cart, and enjoy.
Unpacking Grandma's Kitchen has amused me all night. I am so glad that they had them on
sale.
