Congratulations for jumping all the hurdles to do this. I tried to list
something through Giving Works and ended up with a non-charity listing.
Majorly frustrating for this limited brain.

I wrote with frustration:

But after everything was fixed added:
Nevermind. I found what I did wrong. It was easy to fix.

I followed all the instructions to register with Mission Fish for the
Hurricane Katrina effort. After bumbling through a couple of steps, I
got an auction on. Then I received a notice that I had a listing
violation and that I needed to copy some portion of some letter that
had been sent to me. Strange -- my auction looked like everyone else's.
Anyway... I decided it was easier to just send some money than to
figure out what I was doing wrong, so I pulled the auction.

Too short on brains, I guess.

I'd like to see you back up that claim that the money is NOT going to the
Red Cross.

Wow, look at that. Two top posts back to back and not a word said. I bet
something's said about this one -- solely because *I* posted it.

All it would have taken was somebody saying something in a decent way
instead of getting all self-righteous top posting corrected protocol
spouting RFC espousing i'm-indignant-because-he's-not-doing-what-i-say
self-righteous (I know, but that deserves to be said twice) stupid. But,
since morons will be morons, screw 'em.
