Default Anybody use a digital camera for copying at a library?

During a recent library research visit, I used a 3.2 megapixel digital
camera for copying 8.5 by 11 inch pages (mostly text).

The page images were in good enough shape to read.

I later figured out it works out to about 170 dpi. Given the camera
distortion (lens distortion, jpeg compression distortion) it appears to
be around 125 dpi.

Anyody else try this?

This had the main advantage of quickly copying what I wanted (5 seconds
a page) versus significantly longer at the copy machine since each page
turn requires the book to be fliped upside down, page turned, and then
flipped upside down and aligned again.
