You continue to show yourself to be extremely discerning. LOL. This was
a joke, you dummy! I was poking fun at myself for my suggesting a
different type of behavior with one poster here. You're no doubt going
to argue this too as you've dully argued everything else. I welcome
Anka's responses to my posts, despite the sometimes acerbic nature of
many of them in the past. She unlike you has the ability to do witty,
intelligent repartee. And she buys really *interesting* coins. Finally,
despite my denial in my previous post, I am jealous of her upcoming
travels. I just hope she brings a good metal detector with her so she's
able to dig up some nice ancient coins.

Thanks for the update, Anka. I can't tell you how much I appreciate
this. I'd love to chitchat with you about all of your upcoming
adventures, but I'm not allowed to here by the Usenet police. You and
Michael should have a great time. I'm not jealous at all, having been
there and done that, sorta, but I am a teensy-weensy bit enraged that
you took him again instead of me. You cougars! Feel free to talk coins
any time you want. It's really fun when you post links to photos of your
new coin purchases. These are wonderful opportunities for critiques, and
just as I learn from my mistakes, I'm sure lots and lots of people here
learn from yours.

I'm going solo. From past experience, the Italian ship will have few
English speakers. But never fear. I make freinds easily, no matter
what language is spoken.

How's your German (French, Italian, Spanish, Russian) coming along?

What a crock!

To paraphrase Pogo, we have met the Usenet Police... and he is you. You're
the only one who has been complaining loud and long about "chit-chat" in
rcc, Mr. Net Kop.

Barring a certain nemesis of yours who shall go un-nymed here, I can't think
of anybody who would truly be bothered by Anka's friendly post or any
responses to it. But you couldn't resist one more hypocritical jab at the
group, could you?

Friendly post? More like sarcastic. ;-)

Ah, you're just trying to entice me into more chitchat, which in excess
I was critical of, so people using handles can criticize me for
chitchatting. That's OK. I'll let you have your fun.

From another post ...

Friendly post? More like sarcastic. ;-)

You, sarcastic? Say in ain't so. That was colloquial English, which
along with proper English, I am fluent in, mostly.

Enough silliness. How about some coin talk. Why not post a pic of your
latest acquisition. Please. It's so much fun.

Oh, so a guy can get away with BS as long as he/she collects "interesting"
coins (as defined by you, of course), is that about it?. Funny, even though
you've indicated that at least a few of my coins are "interesting", you
certainly haven't cut me any slack. You remind me of some politicians who
do their best chameleon impressions on teevee (I predict that you'll now
feign ignorance by claiming that you don't watch tv, but let me save you the
trouble, I know you're a very busy man and time is precious).

By the say, I remember one of your posts of some time ago when you gave me a
royal reaming for coming back after I said "Adieu," and here you are right
back after announcing your "last post about this."

I can't wait to see your attempt to squirm out of all this. It should be
quite the spectacle.

I was being sarcastic, James, a la Anka. This if I recall was before
your time here. But feel free to jump in and offer more of your views
about this.

Frankly, I was expecting a better show. You appear to be losing your touch.

And I note that you conveniently avoided quoting and answering my challenge
re your "comeback" after announcing your "last post about this." Double
standard, I'd say. One for you and one for everybody else.

More argument for argument's sake. Empty argumentation. I said in a post
yesterday that I was done after that post discussing my advice to refer
to "Scurvy Dog" by his real name to reduce the flaming, summarizing my
advice in that post about this matter. Anka afterward posted a note
directed to me not about this at all but about other matters. I
responded to her. And you because you have to comment on anything and
everything comment on this, getting stuff wrong because you don't know
the history because you weren't here but continuing to soldier on trying
to find some criticism or other that will stick. Stupid Usenet
argumentation.

And you managed to include yet another dig re net kopping and chit-chatting
in that post, we note. Totally non-sequitur and contradictory for someone
who says he's done. Somebody once told me that if you say you're done, ya
gotta actually be done. Who was that masked man, anyhow?

Reluctant as I am to throw a bone to Scurvy Dog, I think he's got you pegged
about right. Your behavior tops anything I saw when the alt.life.sucks
contingent bled over into rcc back in late 2005.

What's this? Chit chat? This will never do...
