Default No News Good News -> Ralph

I have contacted Mr. Richard Zimmermann from France, the specialist of Joint
Issues, who let me know that Ralph (known here as Ambraja and as Windows
Clerk #1) continues to be a very active member of the Joint Issues society.

Thanks for the most recent update. I had mentioned this before that
Ralph was doing OK, but apparently it slipped between the hinge and
the page.

What is the Joint Issues Society and where can I learn more about them? If
it is what I think it is, I have been contemplating starting a collection
such as this.

Eventually try this link:
http://perso.club-internet.fr/rzimmerm/

Please send my regards to Mr. Zimmermann if you contact him.

Just to notice that some pages of my own Web sites are dedicated to Joint
Issues, in a more or less serious manner (when less serious then because
also in this domain, IMHO, the PA's are exaggerating).

International Philatelic Society of Joint Stamp Issues Collectors

Although having official by-laws and an identified physical address,
this association will probably continue to be considered as a "Virtual
Society" due to the fact that the collectors are spread all over the
world and meet physically only at a local level. However members
benefit from real information exchange and quarterly updated
information through the Society journal "Joint Stamp Issues".

Their site is intended to become the information gathering center for
collectors connected to the web, but the printed documents will remain
the official information link, beside the members' page. This site is
expected to be updated regularly, but its contents will mainly depend
from the information sent by other stamp collectors.

Today more than 110 members from 20 countries have joined the society

Since November 2002, a special members'site was opened for all members
in good standing order with their membership fees. These pages collect
all information published in the journals (archives), data about
specific country joint issues, special articles about specific pairs
of joint issues, full addresses of members, advertisement section for
exchange of material between members, and the most recent discussions
about the society itself. A confidential access code is required to
enter these pages.

Thanks, Blair.

Of course, I know the URL too, so I posted it to the RCSD about 5 hours
before you did. The problem is that the postings appear delayed on different
news servers.

I'm glad that you are among as, Ralph!

Surely in the dunes it is warmer than here in Switzerland, and full of
fennecs.

Thank you both very much. It was exactly what I was expecting. I may have
to start a joint issues collection (I would probably start with joint issues
of the US only because I know I can get the US half).
