Shiny Bits
Hello all I am looking for some advice on the best way to restore the metal reflectors on my Rockola Rocket 1432. I have been working very hard on this machine over the last couple of years off and on and I am now in the home stretch. I have buffed out all of the aluminum parts to a near chrome shine and I am working on putting it all back together however there are some shiny reflectors that were in the door to help direct the light to the proper places to maximize the light output on the color wheel. These metal parts I do believe are chrome plated and have some surface rust on them... However they may also be just very shiny tin... I was wondering if anyone knows any good tricks to get that shine back or should I just plan on one day sending them to a chrome shop to get redone?.
Thanks |
