Today I bought a box of about 140 unsearched foreign silver coins.
There was one non-silver coin in the box: an 1886 Liberty nickle.

"WheatPenny" happily reported his good fortune to the group with:
Today I bought a box of about 140 unsearched foreign silver coins.
There was one non-silver coin in the box: an 1886 Liberty nickle.


Wow! That was indeed a great find. Way to go! What condition is the
nickel in?

You'll be able to get maybe G money for that! Very nice find, most
1886 5c have less detail than that.

You'll be able to get maybe G money for that! Very nice find, most
1886 5c have less detail than that.

Yeah, that's what I figured, because of the pitting, if I decide to
sell it I will sell it as G.
I always figure it's better to err on the side of caution when grading
coins to sell.
