Default Pilot Vanishing Point Pen

I purchased a Pilot VP and it writes great BUT for better words it is
"squeaky".
When I write with it there is a high pitched squeaky noise.
When I write with the nib out of the pen all is well.
Anyone else have this problem or are they just noisy pens?

Thanks

I read somewhere that the boring noise fades away if you use Namiki Ink.
Also it should greatly attenuate with use.

I have two of them and they do tend to squeak for the first week or so
and then settle down after the nib forms to you style of writing.
