Cheap, yes! Ugly, yes! Harshly cleaned, yes! (probably with a pencil
eraser).

If I coin makes you want to throw up every time you look at it, why buy
it? You were right to move on...

Cheap, yes! Ugly, yes! Harshly cleaned, yes! (probably with a pencil

Worse than that, I'd suspect. The seller is very upfront to call that a
repair on the obverse. It looks likes some of the gouging or graffiti
that was removed is still visible near the rim. ;-/
