Default New Buffalo Nickels

I still haven't seen any of the new nickels in circulation here in my
personal retro time warp I call home.

However there have been two RCC'ers that have sent me multiple
examples free, both p and d mint.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
I owe rcc karma a lot and will pass it along in the future!
Did I say thank you!!?

It is a mostly a very nice design.
No 2005 cents, or dimes yet. Glad I don't collect those!

Also I hear that the 2005 Mint sets will have a new finish this year.
A satin finish instead of the normal finish to distinguish the mint set
coins from normal
uncircualted coins.

Well isn't that what most coin collectors want? A new variety?
I want a mint set but can't get excited about the new finish.

A baggy satin finish verses a baggy normal finish doesn't seem much
different to me.
Maybe they will take a little more care with them? Nah! I doubt it!

Dale
