Identifying banknotes - can you help?
I have come across some old banknotes, which appear to be german, dating
from around the 1920 and onwards. Would anyone have any idea of their history and value? You can view the notes at http://www.btinternet.com/~bewatts/papermoney.html Any comments gratefully appreciated. |

Yes, they are all German, some pre-inflation, and some from the early months of the great inflation. I haven't got a catalogue for that period, but generally these notes aren't worth very much in this condition, probably around 50 cents each. Jan -- Praise the Lord; praise God our savior!
