Default Your favorite annual coin show?

What is your favorite annual coin show? If a dealer, maybe you buy or sell a
lot there, as a collector maybe you make good finds, like the atmosphere of the
show or the city etc.

I would ask what is your least favorite coin show but if you really disliked a
show why would you continue to go there?

Central States, spring or fall show, doesn't matter. Most all of my friends
show
up there, lots of good dealers, and generally close enough for me to drive.

Bruce (Not counting the EAC "show")

Mine would be the MSNS Fall show
in Dearborn on Thanksgiving weekend.

Had to miss it last year due to getting
the flu - that was a bummer.

The PAN show in Pittsburgh is always a good one and close to home

The ANA shows are always good too!

Pretty much any show I can get to. I've been to the ANA Spring and Summer
shows,
same for the Cenntral States, as well as the Chicago Coin Fair. All of
them
were very good though the Philadelphia ANA was probably my favorite so far.
We also have some pretty good local shows in March and October, I think one
is called the MOON show and the other one the Northwest Spring show. These
don't have the biggies in ancient coins nor the great club meetings but
it's
a pretty well attended and fun show for buying.

FUN show in Orlando every January.

I collect European coins mostly (although I've started to add a few older US
coins to my collection). I think the atmospere is friendly, there's a good
variety of material, and prices are better than the ANA shows. I've not been
to NY Intl, Chicago or Long Beach shows to compare against, however.

I have to say that my favorite annual coin show is the Ocala Coin Club Show.
It's the only coin show that I've been to since the 1970s. Back then I went
to a few shows around Fl, including the FUN show in Orlando.

The Ocala show is small -- 30 something dealers, but everyone is very
friendly and unhurried. A great show for beginners or hobby re-entrants.

By the way it's the first weekend in Feb 2004. Right off I75. Convenient to
Orlando/Tampa attractions. Come on down.

My favorite show would be the Baltimore shows, due to the size
and good selection of dealers. My least favorite, and I will
answer this, are the annual June Chicago/Rosemont show. For some
reason I just don't like the atmosphere of that show. Of course,
I am comparing it to the Baltimore shows, which not many shows
can beat.
