Dodge Sprinter van
Ford Crown Victoria sedan Mercury Grand Marquis sedan Pontiac Grand Prix sedan Ford E-Series van Dodge Durango SUV Dodge Ram 1500 pickup Buick Terraza minivan Chevrolet Uplander minivan Pontiac SV6 minivan Saturn Relay minivan Saturn Ion coupe and sedan Ford Ranger pickup What is this based on? The Crown Vic and the Grand Marquis are almost bullet-proof and always do well in any consumer reports I have seen. Maybe that was only the past models and not currently. I am still driving the 1988 Vic. I had a 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4 as part of the glass business fleet. It had the V6 and we piled the "clicks" on it and beat it with a lot of hard service and heavy hauling. Ran it for over ten years till the rust became an eyesore to potential customers. Again this list may be referring to current models. |

Maybe that was only the past models and not currently. I am still driving the 1988 Vic. snip Earlier Vics/Marquises in the old body style had room inside commensurate with the bulk outside. The new ones are quite, believe me. My father-in-law has a Marquis...it's a turd. The 4.6L "modular" V8 is a guzzler; my Chrysler M-body with a roller cam 318 is so miserly in comparison, it deserves to wear a tam and kilt! I had a 1988 Ford Ranger 4x4 as part of the glass business fleet. It had the V6 and we piled the "clicks" on it and beat it with a lot of hard service and heavy hauling. Again this list may be referring to current models. snip Noted as being gas hogs, though, considering their power output. Then again, GM's S10/S15 competition with the variable venturi carburetors were even worse with the 2.8L V6 and nearly impossible to keep "smog legal." The 4.3L V6 (a 350 V8 with two cylinders shaved off) was the ultimate guzzler in that field, however. The Rangers of that era were a hardy breed...until you broke the plastic timing gears! The models listed are current models, and yes, I agree...they're mostly a lot of trash. |

Cheryl should consider having you committed, Noodles. You're a danger to your family and the public at large. Perhaps Chief Altmiller should get tipped off about your splayed reality. So should the boss at KFW...which is probably looking to dump people now anyway. |

Quite true in my experience. I was always filling up the tank (which I believe was on the small side). I still drive the 1989 Bronco II which may have a larger tank as I do not seem to go through gas fillups as much with that though they have the same engine. Possibly lighter though? Rust is catching up to the Bronco this past two years. As Neil sings (or brays), rust never sleeps. A shame since the mechanicals are still so good. An almost trouble free vehicle even after 18 years. |

People drive what they can afford- if someone can't afford gas, they can't
afford to drive a car then. Perhaps they should get a moped or bicycle. Although they'd look as dumb as they really are, driving a moped down a freeway in California.... (laughter....) Here's a question for Charlie, our resident retard: What's better, pouring more dollars in to Lee Raymond's exorbitant "retirement" deal, or putting it into investments? I can't wait to hear what the idiot has to say about THIS! |
