Rock-ola Ultra Will Not Scan

Just completely re-capped, but it will not scan in test or operational
mode. I do get a single solenoid trip on the carriage assembly, but no
turning. Any ideas? IS there a troubleshooting guide for Rock-ola
similar to the Seeburg guides?

What did you just re-cap? There is no troubleshooting guide, but the
service manual takes you through the equence of operation and is a big
help. If you do not have, please contact me, I can sell you one.
Question? here is the bow that grabs the record? Around the turntable
or over the record basket? It must be over the basket, for it to
scan. I f aread out carrage coil is pulling in , it sounds like you
have a bad or mis-adjusted micro switch. Call me btw 7pm and 11pm EST
while you are standing in front of the machine, and I will try to help
you.

control unit. The bow is around the turntable and everything seems to
