UK Site update
My 2006 Proof Set arrived this morning, so I photographed
all the new verions and have updated my web site accordingly. The two Brunel two pound designs are stunning, as is the VC 50 pence. The Heroic Acts 50p is rather odd, and I am not sure it will survive circulation very well. The Queen's 80th birthday five pound crown-sized coin has by far and away the best UK crown design for some years, in my opinion. The Queen's 80th birthday five pound crown-sized coin has by far and away the best UK crown design for some years, in my opinion. Like the Brunel coins, truly magnificent, not quite so fond of the 80th Birthday coin, believe it rather unimaginative imho.
