Default Silver Quarter Question

While sorting out a pile of change I have I came across two silver quarters
I didn't know I had in there. They look like any regular quarter. One is a
1948 and the other is a 1959, George on the front, Eagle on the back, and
all the same markings except there is no P or D mint mark on either. I was
wondering if they're worth anything or even collectable?

Mike,

They're not "world cruise" items, but it's still nice to find silver
once in a while.

I don't know if you know this, but back then, the mintmark, if any,
was on the reverse, right above the "ER" in "QUARTER". No
mm=Philadelphia, D=Denver, S=San Francisco.

take care,
Scott
