most looking for and it is also we can find them if we look hard and
pay enough money? Please advise in different subjects

This reminds me of the perpetual photography question "What is the
best camera?" The answer to that one is, "Whichever one best enables
you to take good pictures, given your interests, skills, limitations,
and definition of "good." The answer to this question would be
similar.

Seriously, the question is far too general to elicit useful
information. If I felt called upon to respond I would not mind being
asked to part with hard-won knowledge, but I would resent the
indefinite, downright purposeless nature of the question.

Someone posted a link a while back listing the highest prices paid for books
over the last couple years. Can't remember the address though. That would
provide a rough idea of the rarest.

At least a few thousand of the rarest book titles are almost
priceless, irreplaceable and almost unique. I'm thinking of books like
the book of Kells. Books at that level just don't show up through
casual browsing in S/H bookshops.

The Book of Kells would probably be worth a few bucks.

I hear there are only three copies of the "Ninth Gate" -- that's
got to put the value up there. And the "Necronomicon" is rare in
the Greek black letter edition. :-)
