Default AU or AG..seller gets religion

The seller of the 1911-D so widely discussed here in the last day has had a
change of heart. Here's the link to his revised auction.

What's odd is that he has other Lincolns cents for auction that are not that
much off the mark, and one or two may be accurately graded. For exmple, his

It must have been all them cards and letters that opened his eyes! Keep up the
good work, folks.

So COINGRADER, what lofty grade would your esteemed firm assign to this impressive

Mr. Puppet I think you met to say Vigilante PUPPET MOB instead of

vigilance.
How many threatening E-mails did you send him? I hope he made copies and

sends
them off to E-Bay..

THE COIN GRADER

Who's to say any of the e-mails were threatening. Could be (most likely)
they were just informative. It's the dishonest people (such as yourself)
that view questioning people as threatening. We should just accept whatever
grade is quoted as gospel, right?

I tried to check it out,but it came up invalid.I wonder if he pulled
it when everyone started asking questions.
Its possible the seller lurks here sometimes and didn't want to
become fodder for criticism a la acg-but if he does lurk here,at least
its nice to know what kind of influence rcc has.Maybe acg should take
note of it,and wise up.

Phil,
It came up invalid because the 993768 was dropped from the link due to
wrap.Try this link
http://tinyurl.com/g34y the auction is still going.

Thanks for the link-that is a pretty ugly cent.In the other
thread,Alan said there may be some question about the date, and I think
he's right-the 3rd digit almost looks like an 8 or a 2,but I can't
really tell, its in such poor shape.
AG or Good would be all I would call it,unless its a really, really
bad photo.
