Today's Mail - Auction Purchase Cancelled checks-

Ok-

I'm guilty-I purchased two signed checks off of eBay which I hope are legit.
I feel pretty sure bank documents would be legit...

First up-signed check from Ester Rolle of "Good Times". There are a few of
these out there from time to time.

The Other, from composer Paul Williams, composer, but widely recognized from
"Smokey and the Bandit". He was "little Enos, the dwarf in the blue suit".

Often curious-How do these cancelled checks get out into the public? The
seller also has a cancelled check of Telly Savalas (Kojak)...Input welcome-

Oh-I only paid $8 bucks each for these, so-if they're fake...no huge loss...

Cancelled checks if they are authentic go to the person when they have
an account with the bank and request the cancelled checks through their
checking plan. I bet most of these are authentic. I have one of an
astronaut (can't remember the name yet without looking it up).

I have Telly Savalas myself. I think they are a cool piece of history.
Imagine holding a check that the celebrity held in their hand.
