Default Mark Twain commemorative coins

WASHINGTON -- On Jan. 1, 2016, the Treasury Department will begin
issuing commemorative coins to celebrate Mark Twain’s contribution to
American literary history

This is a much better subject for our coins than dead presidents and
their wives.

Yes, but the Mint will probably prong Twain with some ridiculous POS two-dimensional posterboard design.

I'd say make a Twain dollar somewhat allegorical, say a Thomas Hart Benton-ish view of Tom Sawyer, Huck Finn and Jim on a raft in mid-river on the obverse and a stylized-view of Haley's Comet on the reverse. IMHO, that would all be most cool.

But the Mint will probably come up with a POS like the Girlie Scout coin.
