Has Anyone Recently Completed a Collection?

Has anyone recently completed, or is close to completing, a
collection?

I collect small plastic NFL football helmets (from gumball machines),
and I need two more to complete my collection. I'm getting pretty
anxious - every trip to the store brings at least a few tries at
obtaining those elusive last two helmets.

In the spirit of full disclosure, I'm also a university professor who
writes frequently on why people collect.

I'd greatly appreciate your responses, either to the group or offline
at , to these questions:

Take me through what you were thinking when you completed the
collection.

Walk me through the pursuit of that final item.

Did you reflect at all on the act of collecting? What did you
conclude?


What's next? Another type of item? Another collection? Will you stop
collecting for now? If so, why?
