Anyone with get scammed by Ebay book sellers?

Discription like "L@@K - minty - no eye tracks" might attract a buyer.

Actually, there have been TWO grading systems among book collectors for many
years. The standard terms on one are Good-Fine-Mint, while the standard terms
in the other are Good-Very Good-Fine.

One has to be careful when reading an ad to interpret the system that the
seller is using.

personally i've only seen "mint" used in comic collecting and then is
better be f**king perfect ;-)

i only use "unread" as a further statement on fine, as in "fine
(unread) copy". clarifying that it has no flaws at all.

If you think book conditions come in for discussion, then get into
camera collectioning. One condition standard used "excellent" but to
many that excellent camera would be a clapped out piece of junk, as a
certain amount of finish loss was allowed for.

i know, i've read camera ads in the past, lol.
