I use "unread" from time to time, usually as "unread in excellent

the "official" condition names used by dealers

How about "no eye tracks"?

Dave

I have to remember "no eye tracks".

Discription like "L@@K - minty - no eye tracks" might attract a buyer.

Nothing I sell can (IMHO) be considered new (book may be unread but
maybe sat on shelf for a while) so I never call anything "new" and I
don't like using "mint".

i only use "unread" as a further statement on fine, as in "fine
(unread) copy". clarifying that it has no flaws at all.

If you think book conditions come in for discussion, then get into
camera collectioning. One condition standard used "excellent" but to
many that excellent camera would be a clapped out piece of junk, as a
certain amount of finish loss was allowed for.

i know, i've read camera ads in the past, lol.
