Question

How would I go about valuing, or getting an online estimate for the
following book:

Title: Sketch Vol 11 Aug to Oct 1895 (7/31/1895 to 10/23/1895)
Publisher: Ingram Brothers, Strand, London

Any advice would be much appreciated.

The best thing is to take it to a secondhand bookshop and ask (a shop that
only sells secondhand books -- not an Oxfam, or an antique shop, or
Waterstones, or the paperback guy on the market!).

Good dealers don't like valuing online, except in the most general terms,
because so much depends on condition -- which is almost impossible to
convey without an absurd number of digital photos the snapping and
transmission of which will take longer than driving to the bookshop.

Where are you located? Doubtless someone here will be able to recommend --
or may indeed be -- a dealer local to you.
