I have about the amount that would fit in a shoe box (so a good size since all off paper). I'm wondering how I could find a good place to contribute these. I know many people would take them but I'm hoping to find someone needy who may otherwise not be able to get stamps easilly but would really like them (Uraguay used to have a program Philatelic Friend years ago but I just emailed them and turns out they no longer have the program) If you had a valid e-mail address, I'd send you an e-mail. If you're serious about contributing some stamps, e-mail me instead. I have been donating stamps for 3 years and have many different places to send to as well as newbies. I'll post in support of Tracy. I sent him a large stack of modern used NZ letter rate definitives recently for his stamp donation programme (have they arrived yet?). Convenient way to get rid of stamps that are dirt common here but not common overseas... let Tracy do all the hard work. Hey - I resemble that! It's actually not hard, but sometimes at the 90th stamp of a 50 packet table load, it gets a wee bit sloooooooowwww..... then the packaging of them encourages me to finish faster! hehehehehehe... Yes, they have arrived a long time ago. Thanks! Tracy Barber |

Hi -- What is "troll"? (I guess it is common expresion because I looked in GoogleGroups but I never saw or could discern a definition??? -- I am guesing it is someone looking to harvest emails to then future solicite them for selling?) Please excuse the off topic -- I was just wondering for my own net-vocabulary Not off-topic on this post. It's very easy for someone to come here and offer stamps like you have and then not show up later, disappear and of course not have any stamps to give away to newbies. We call people like that trolls. It strikes worse on that topic because it's not a passing joke / etc. but something that can technically suck us into and then get wrapped up with the topic. Many of us here like to pass stamps on to others to keep the hobby going - no matter how little or how much you have to donate. Some people can take that and twist it around for their sick humor. Since you've come back a few times, I wouldn't consider you a troll. === :^) Just another good soul looking to help out the hobby. Tracy Barber |

Follow up ...
Thanks for all the ideas on where to send used world stamps. In one of the posts DROGER Jean-Paul mentioned APS and that gave me an idea: I see looking on the web that there's an APS chapter in this area (and they have a web site that has their email so easy to contact). So I think I'll ask them to distribute them. Cheers! |
