I'm trying to find the exchange rate between US$ and Japan Yen in
1950-1951. I tried to find the oldest rate in older scott catalogs
but can't get that far back. Does anyone have any ideas?

Here's a website with an interesting collection of links (including
historical exchange rates) on the subject of the "current value of old
money."
