Preservation
OK, so my father just gave me a large collection of stamps, mostly US
but not all. I know there are some rare stamps in there, although i won't mention them, but they are not preserved well. Some are in books with those stinky little tabs. The majority are in yellowing clear type envelopes. Thousands of them. He has had them for almost 50 years, and they were old when he got them. Plate blocks, and blocks of 4, singles, etc. What do I need to do? What supplies do I need to get? All I know is that these things need help. It's a big collection. Thanks. Ted. |

Preservation
Is this Newsgroup dead? Nothing for 3 or 4 weeks. Just seems full of
advertisements of stuff nobody would be interested in. Anybody out there? How do you get a newsgroup canceled when it is so inactive that it is worthless? |
