Lets give this one more look Charlie. Here again is your original post
concerning Reta. The gist of it is that he offered you a certain deal.
You didn't want to take him up on it. You wanted to cherry pick all the
best tapes from the lot but get them at the same rate as the price he quoted
you for the entire lot.

DENIED. After I said "ok" to his price, he upped the price.

Well if you only wanted the best tapes why would he
give you them for the reduced rate of the entire package. I would not sell
you Chalie Pride for the same price I would sell you Blonde. You are the
one who tried to screw him.

DENIED- since when is making an offer on something, trying to "screw"
someone

And the bottom line is that he was under no
olbligation to give you the deal you wanted.

AGREED. I never said he was obligated to anything. That goes without
saying.

He offered you deal that you
didn't want that's all there was to this dispute.

DENIED- he offered the whole lot at one price, I accepted. Then he
raised the price. He continued to raise the price with each successive
person who tried to buy those tapes. Eventually he had ALL the tapes
listed on 8-track heaven for $5 each. These were tapes that the
majority were worth maybe 50 cents each. That is not a "deal". I made
others on the NG here aware of it. I have that right.

But as always you were
the one wronged and badmouthed him and felt hurt when you were called on it.
Now two years later your still whining.

DENIED- you said the problem started with a Steppenwolf tape for $1.
Well, I posted the thread proving, that was not the case. The
Steppenwolf tape was nothing actually. AS USUAL, you were wrong,
AGAIN. All this proves, is that you aren't man enough to just admit
it, Brian. Now, who's whining ??

Oh yes as all can see I was wrong. You are the wronged party. Please
accept my sincere apology. Now do you feel all warm inside. I'm sure that
now all will come around and change their mind about you.

I feel so sorry for ANYONE who has ANY dealing with Charlie Nudo. As his
rant proves below, he is incapable of telling the truth, or accepting it
when he hears it. Newcomers to the 8 track collecting world...beware of
this troll!

Dan,

Why all the vehement statements from you lately ?? We're all in this
8-track hobby together, remember ?? The goal is, spread the feel of
what it's like to be 8-tracking in 2004. These newbies and kids need
working players and tapes so they can get into the hobby, without
getting junk that does not work. When I see "as is" auctions on
ebay...yecchhh...

You should contribute to the cause, rather than flame it on this NG
the way you are right now. No one cares about those old issues
anymore, and are tired of hearing it. It's obvious you are the one
"ranting" on about it, not anyone else here. The world is plenty big
enough for everyone to enjoy 8-tracks without stepping on others' feet
like you are now.

your "sorry" statement just does not hold any water. All my ebay
buyers are very satisfied with the working, serviced decks and tapes
they receive.

chill dude, you'll get over it...track on

Look in the mirror, Nudo-Poo-Poo.
You're the one needing to get over it, not us.

OK all you tracking lurkers out there, below is a post from a previous
thread here in the archives, where Dan Gibson uses peer pressure on
Dan #3 in a thread.

Dan #3, you caved in way too easy. You should do your own thinking.
Don't be persuaded by someone like Dan Gibson. I mean, really
now...anyone wanting to find this thread here, just do a search for
"Dan#3" in this forum, it's under the Akai GXR82D vs. Akai 81D thread.

Nope. Cannot understand how some folks get the good stuff and others
don't - if ya know what i mean.
Besides, My Sansui Run cool under heavy operating conditions. Not too
fond of the line of amp he's using - too much noise at an idle and run
too hot too soon. Buddy of mine had one of the same make and even tho
it was damn close to show room quality, it had it's flaws (noisy with
no signal/idle - distortion at high volume). He eventually went to a
reconditioned 4 Channel Marantz (with Quad scope). Gives my Sansui a
run.

Dan #3 - Running a Sansui 1000x @ 75 watts RMS w/0.02% total harmonic
distortion

Ron,

The Wings Over America tape you traded me, when I tried to play it, it
played for about 2 seconds and jammed. I took it apart. I could see
you put a new Win-Gib pad in. You also fixed the splice, but it was
stuck together and had to be re-spliced.

This board is cruising along quite nicely IMO.

judging by the date it fits in when i had the flu. Danno helped clear
my foggy head as we all know when ya have the flu, ya don't think too
clear.

BIG MEGGA KUDOS TO DANNO ON THAT THREAD!!

as for trying to make it look like anything else, well, that's your
own judgement.
Unless you want to go that route, then I'm game. Lets read into the
REAL meaning of the thread in question......

Lets take part 2 of this archived thread where it reads:
(snip)
"Nope. Cannot understand how some folks get the good stuff and
others don't - if ya know what i mean"

This was a response to Mr. Gibson's question, also archived on the
same thread:
(snip)
"Ugh.... Dan #3, are you groveling at the trough of Nudo?"

This was the original statement I made under "flu conditions" before
Advil kicked in:
(snip)
"I have 2 envious words for ya: YOU DOG!
I'm lucky to find in these parts a decent deck of any brand! I'm sure
they have found a warm and loving home right next to your amp!
*Fantastic Dude!* Dan #3 (with only the Akai 80D-SS, still waiting
for surgery)"

Now, on the surface, this may appear to be myself giving a "pat on
the back" to Nudo Poo-Poo. Please note the *'s around "Fantastic Dude"
- which I understand that it could imply sarchasm(sp). In this case,
it was intended. Also, what is not included in that thread is the
P.O.S. amp he is using to run said tape decks thru. ****, ya might as
well wire them up to a jam box and get the same sonics outta it.

So readers, when you read my final message (as appearing above &
below) that says:
"Nope. Cannot understand how some folks get the good stuff and others
don't - if ya know what i mean"
then you know the sacrilege that happens when Nudo Poo-Poo picks up
good gear and ends up in his cum-caked hands. Kinda like when some
Punk kid drives the **** outta a classic muscle car.....

Dan #3
