London Coin Dealers
I will be visiting London, UK in a few days, staying near Hyde Park,
and spending quite a bit of time in the EC3 area. Can anyone suggest coin dealers in central London with a good selection of world coins and notes, or sellers of numismatic literature? Thank you. Doug ___________________________ |

I believe there is a few coin dealers very close to the British Museum. you
could also try Spink but I am not sure how close they are to where your staying. You could also try posting in uk.rec.collecting.coins Enjoy your trip. Mame "Doug Andrews" wrote in message om... Just going by memory so I'm sure that isn't spelled correctly. |

Get the yellow pages when you arrive in London, the hotel will probably
have a copy and look for "coin dealers", the hotel may photocopy the page for you. Buy a copy of "Coin News" magazine and read the adverts. Thanks for the tip, in future I won't ask for a copy of the page bearing
the "Lap Dancing" listings. :-) Billy T Block wrote: Get the yellow pages when you arrive in London, the hotel will probably have a copy and look for "coin dealers", the hotel may photocopy the page for you. No, if you do that then everyone in town will know what you are up to... |

Reminds me of the time I was living with two other women and I got sent to
the shops to buy a few items. The shopping list was laxatives, toilet paper and airfreshener. I didn't realise the connection until I was standing at the checkout waitin to be served. I was somewhat embarrassed when I realised the incriminating inventory! Mame "note.boy" wrote in message ...
