Ebay Account suspension.

Fact: You cannot "shut off" your account at will and then turn it back on. Ebay
requires a waiting period of 180 days if you have listed auctions recently
(like Nudo did).

The only way an account would be shut off for a couple of days is if it was
hi-jacked and things were being sorted out, or EBay suspended the account for
infractions. A suspension from eBay may be for a fixed length of time, indefinite,
or permanent. Suspensions remain in effect until removed by eBay.

So either Nudo had his account hijacked or temporarly suspended for his own
stupidity. Judging by the tirade in rec. antigues, it was a suspension.

We can probably have him suspended again for that fraud alignment tape
he's now hawking under "quad-dubber." Click the "Security Center"
link at the bottom of the page, and click the links to "counterfeit"
merchanise, fill in the auction number, and send. Easy! Enough of
these, and they'll 86 him again.
