You owe me one, eh? LOL

I'm glad you appreciate my efforts to help you. Perhaps someday in the
future you will think honesty is an important and worthwhile virtue.
But I'm NOT holding my breath on that one!

Be advised that the alignment tape listing is for a homemade dubbed
copy. later, ron

I don't care if you sell it for ten grand as long as you let people
know in your listing it's a homemade dubbed copy.

But don't thank me--you're the one who should give yourself a pat on
the back. Once again, you successfully perpetrate fraud upon the
ignorant. How proud you must be!

You're so happy to be fraudulent, I suspect you won't make your listing
honest merely out of spite. How patehetic.

Be advised that the alignment tape listing is for a homemade dubbed

Maybe a metaphor will help you understand. Say a vendor sold a
customer a diamond--except that the diamond was not a diamond but a
clever replica.

The dishonest vendor cheats the ignorant to satisfy his greed.

The ignorant customer never questions the replica's authenticity and
believes he has a real diamond his entire life.

You, charlie, say it's okay to be like the dishonest vendor. I say
it's not okay. Here are the facts:

Your homemade dubbed copy alignment tape listing is dishonest.

You know it is dishonest and you refuse to change it.

Therefore, you are fraudulent. later, ron

Send the bidders warning emails. eBay used to penalized sellers that
did that, but have recently recanted their position, since they were
aiding and abetting fraudsters like Nudo. Simply click on the
bidder's name and then click on "Contact Member." Warn them that the
item they've bid on is a fraud, and that you have witnesses that can
attest to the fake nature of Nudo's tapes. Then, submit a fraud
complaint to eBay complaining about Nudo's counterfeit items.

We'll get rid of this fraudster yet.

You owe me, and the entire public, a big apology. Until you do so, you
remain dishonest and fraudulent. later, ron

As a longstanding member of the public, I just want to send a big
thank you to later, ron for his advocacy on my behalf. Please check into
seeing what can be done about exorbitant popcorn and snack pricings at my
local theatre. Fight, big fighter.

Later, Ron- (b.1988-) aka Ron Later- consumer advocate for obsolete
unwanted formats, held many one man marches in D.C. promoting his
cause. Oddly enough, no one cared. (related articles: see hopeless

As someone who spent a lot of time skewering the Fraudo del Nudo, I
appreciate Ron's efforts to bring this fraudster to the public eye.
The rest of you sit and bitch about the buzz about Nudo, yet you'd be
the first whiners to bitch if you got ripped of. I got ripped off by
Nudo twice...twice!...so, I believe any effort to get Charlie Nudo
thrown off of eBay is quite apropos.

Well, Uncle Bob you had a certain panache missing from later,
ron's skewerings. Ron seems to be in a bit of a rut. But then, that may
be his stategy. Or his youth. And goodness knows it is all about
strategy. And timing. And youth. And carborundum.
Fraudo del Nudo? Catchy, very catchy! I am envisioning a sitcom
somewhat along the lines of Fawlty Towers but featuring a sleazy
tropical resort.
On the 8 track front. I recently found The Byrds' Farther Along
cart, thus completing all of the Byrd's discography that matters. Not
including any of the reunion or preflytey things. Turn, Turn, Turn and
Untitled are two that I have had from when the format sold shoulder to
shoulder with the LP.

WWW- let me elaborate on DB's alleged "twice" accusations...

alignment tape, he returned for full refund

SWTR video, he returned one, got another, and decided to keep it- but
could have got a refund on that one too, if he wanted

so much for "ripped of-TWICE"

notice the "of" (sic)
