Please help: Need information about old German Fipps doll
Hi
I'm from Denmark and collect some old toys, mainly slot cars, toy cars and model trains and stuff but I don't know much about dolls. I have just got a few dolls. One of 'em is a pretty old doll (pre-war I assume). It has a sign that says "Tanzpuppe; Fipps; ges. gesch.". I assume that Fipps is the name of the manufacturer. I would like to know the following about this doll: 1 - When was it produced ?? 2 - Is it a common or a rare doll ?? 3 - What's the approximately value of these dolls ?? 4 - What's the English name for this "Tanzpuppe" doll ?? Here is a link to a picture of the doll: http://sitecenter.dk/slotgitt/nss-fo...s/HPIM1112.JPG and here is a close-up picture of the "Fipps-sign": http://sitecenter.dk/slotgitt/nss-fo...s/HPIM1113.JPG Thanks for reading my message - any help will be highly appreciated !! Sincerely, Mikael Gitt |
