Amero -- The next chapter
The Amero fantasies are now being used as a pretext to recruit computers
into Botnets. Today, I've received a bunch of email messages that looked like this one: ---- Snip ---- Subject: Amero is not a myth Amero is coming http://www.xxx.yyy.zzz ---- Snip ---- For this particular incarnation of the email: -- The IP address was for a RoadRunner customer -- The sender claimed to be from a salida.k12.ca.us address -- The headers showed originated from a broadband customer in India, and -- It was addressed to a randomly generated name in one of my domains. Let's be careful out there. -- Michael Benveniste -- (Clarification required) "The hippies wanted peace and love. We wanted Ferraris, blondes and switchblades." Alice Cooper |
