Default Emile Zola - The Mysteries of Napoleon's Court

Hi Group,

Some help please,

I recently acquired a copy of Emile Zola's - The Mysteries of Louis
Napoleon's Court.

The book was published by Hurst and Company - New York.

I have done searches on ABE and Addall and have found no information on this
title.

The Title Page states entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1884.

There is no copyright page but, on the first page of the book above the
Title is stated copyright.

Does anyone have any idea of approx. value ?
When was this book published ?
Was it 1884 ?

I know Hurst was a reprint publisher.
Given that, I'm guessing that I won't be able to retire off of this book
either.

The hunt remains a great joy.

I'm one of those not 'real booksellers' who sell on ebay to support my
addiction (books). I mailed two books today, one with delivery
confirmation. Neither buyer asked for insurance but I bought the
confirmation for the over a hundred dollars book 'cause I just couldn't send
a first edition of "The Deep Blue Good-by" into the void...who bids this
kind of money on a book and doesn't ask for insurance?
