"Foleygate" not going away, despite "Koreaspin"
Looks like Rove's tactic of trying to distract Congress and the media
off of "Foleygate" and onto Kim Jong Il is blowing up in his and his boss' face. House Ethics hearings on "Foleygate" are starting up this week, with TV cameras abounding in the hearing room, despite efforts by Hastert's minions to get them out. The Korean bomb test thing will also blow up in Bush's face...he's the one (puppeteered by "Uncle Ben's Condoleeeeezza Rice") who screwed up the whole works by refusing to negotiate and demanding unilateral talks. After years of hubris and inaction on North Korea, Bushie (actually Rice) finally went along with multilateral talks, but it was far too late...by that time, Kim had enough fissionable material to do a test, and had built rocket prototypes to test. Same thing with 9/11...the report saying that an "attack using airliners on mainland US" was laying on Bush Bird's desk...unread...on 9/10. Latest Rove tactic: Blame Clinton for everything, and get McCain to do it. That's not working either, judging from the press coverage today about McCain's "spin" attempt. Meanwhile, Bush Bird's approval has again dropped to an historic low....33%, while the Republipedoes in Congress have similarly dropped to another low of 25%. Against this sinking of the SS GOP, Gov. Dean has pulled the lever on a 50 state GOTV drive, the biggest in Democratic history. Badly distracted by "Foleygate" and making the wrong move on 'Koreaspin," Rove cannot respond fast enough and is being swamped strategically. Part of the 50 state drive: avoid electronic voting terminals! |

Now, on the front page of this morning's paper, Bush Bird says, "No solo talks!" This, after years of refusing to do multilateral talks with N. Korea, at the behest of our failure of a Secretary of State, "Uncle Ben's Condoleezza Rice." This should be good enough to drive Bush Bird down to 30%! |
