Default Gibraltar - Postal rates?

Does anyone know the exact express rate from Gibraltar to UK for 2003 ?
Or -- if not -- then the similar rate from UK to Gibraltar? A clue could
be 3,00 GBP, which was the price at the time of purchase directly from
Gibraltar Post. If possible, I would also like to know today's commercial
value of the stamp.

The question concerns specifically the NVI stamp issued by Gibraltar on 21st
June 2003 (SG 1151, Scott 941, Michel 1049). The stamp is unlisted in my SG
standard. It features Big Ben and a swift. I have the mint stamp and FDC
(and a buyer), who wants it for the express rate when issued.

Images of both items are available at
http://slaniastamps.heindorffhus.dk/frame-Gibraltar.htm
(Scroll to bottom of page).

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
Mette

Hello Mette:

I find it strange that Gibraltar did NOT include this stamp
in its 2003 year pack. The only issue listed for June 21
was Prince William's 21st birthday.

Technical Description
YEAR PACK 2003
Issued 1st December 2003
Contains all stamps issued in 2003
Design: Gibraltar Philatelic Bureau

2003 Stamps
HM Queen Elizabeth II’s Coronation – 20th February
Europa 2003 (Poster Art) – 3rd March
100th Anniversary of Powered Flight – 31st March
1700th Anniversary of St.George – 23rd April
HRH Prince William’s 21st Birthday – 21st June
Mushrooms of Gibraltar – 15th September
Enlargement of the EU – 15th September
Christmas 2003 – 17th November

This is a service-denominated (for Express mail to the UK)
stamp with increasing effective face value as postal rates rise.

The initial price in 2003 was GBP 3.00 . It still is.

Current US retail price is : USD $12 for a mint stamp and
USD $15 for a first day cover. However, the Gibraltar
Philatelic Bureau is still selling this stamp at GBP 3.00
and the FDC GBP 3.30

Thank you very much Blair. The difference between the Gibraltar post office
price and US retail price is certainly significant !
But the buyer shall have his item for the post office price. A true bargain,
I dare say. In the future he will not be handled with velvet gloves by me
;-)
