Default Best marker for glossy cover magazines

Hi all,

I'll be meeting some celebs in a couple weeks and I have a couple
magazines for them to sign. I figure my usual black Sharpies will work
fine on most, but I have a couple super glossy cover magazines. The
last time I tried to get one of those signed with a Sharpie the ink
immediately puddled into drops and the autograph and magazine cover was
essentially ruined instantly. Is there any brand of marker that'll
stick to that kind of cover?

Hey there-

best bet for super glossy items-

for example-today's trading card usually has a high amount of gloss for the
finish. Us hounds here in VA use baby powder to rub some of the finish off.
sounds crazy, but it works!!

once the gloss is removed-then blue sharpie works wonders!!! I would
experiement with a "junk" magazine first-to be sure you don't ruin the one
you want signed.

Hope this helps-
pe2
